Frequently Asked Questions
Can you summarize how the whole process works?
We sure can. Click here to view a brief step through of how the FBGamefilm process works.
Are my tapes secured from other schools viewing my games?
Yes! All games are password protected and can only be viewed by a registered college coach. If you are uncomfortable with colleges viewing your films during the season, we can enable your games for viewing only after your season is complete. However, we would like the games mailed each week so that it is converted and ready for upload.
Can I get the copy of my game back?
We will send back all DV tapes as requested. DVD copies will not be sent back unless specified.
Do you have any tips for how I can optimize my game tapes for use on FBGamefilm?
We're glad you asked. Click here for some filming tips.
Do you make highlight tapes?
No but you can enter one under the allocated 10 game spots that can be mailed to us just like a game.
How do colleges see my videos?
Colleges will register one user per registration and they will have the ability to scroll through all games and view the teams and players they choose.
When I send DV tapes, how long does it take to receive them back? Is there a fee associated with returning the original tape?
You should have it about 2 weeks after we receive it. No, there is no extra fee for having a DV tape mailed back.
Can I archive my games with your site?
Yes, FBGamefilm plans on archiving all games for their clients. They will be converted at the end of the school year and stored under your schools name.
How can I highlight a specific player or game?
There is an area for notes under each game where you can put stats, a players name or the time of the game or tape that a specific play occurs.
